Headhunters needs a Yard Manager who can step into a practical role in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). A key part of the work involves Our client in the logistics and automotive transport industry is looking to employ a Yard Manager – Port Operations to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on to manage and control all yard operations, vehicle movements, and storage activities, ensuring accurate inventory control, compliance with operational standards, and effi.
Support the team by managing 3–6 years' experience in yard management or logistics / transport operations.
Support the team by managing strong understanding of vehicle movement control and yard coordination.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Yard Manager.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

3 to 6 years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
