Yard and Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a Yard & Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and take charge of the yard and factory maintenance, general tidiness and housekeeping of the entire premises

Location: Springs

Key requirement

• Relevant qualifications, NQF 4
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in operating track and chain driven machines
• Licensed Code EB license
• High tolerance for stress and work pressure
• Computer literate

Key responsibility

• Inbound and outbound machine movement , liaise with all divisions on their request to move and load or off-load
• Plan and execute daily movement and parking of machines, stacking within yard
• Maintain high standard with yard appearance
• Maintenance, accept daily maintenance requests from internal consumers, plan and schedule, appoint and oversee till completion
• Maintain functionality and upkeep of all yard equipment and machinery. Aim for consistent and reliable service to internal customer

• Lead yard and maintenance team, take responsibility of the team discipline and productive usage
• Accept possible emergency call-out and urgent response after hours
