About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Workshop Foreman to oversee daily workshop operations, supervise technicians, and ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for a strong leader with excellent technical knowledge and a passion for operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations
Lead, train, and support technicians and workshop staff
Allocate jobs and monitor workflow to meet deadlines
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Diagnose complex mechanical or technical issues when required
Manage workshop equipment, tools, and inventory
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Prepare job reports and maintain accurate service records
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and management regarding repairs and maintenance

Requirements

Trade Test Certificate or relevant technical qualification (preferred)
Previous experience in a workshop supervisory or foreman role
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle, machinery, or equipment maintenance (depending on industry)
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
Valid driver's licence (preferred)
Computer literacy and experience with workshop management systems are advantageous
