Weighbridge Operator

Role Overview

Company in the Bapsfontein area is looking for a Weighbridge operator. Ensure accurate truck identification, correct stockpile allocation, effective communication between operational areas, and the prevention of congestion and operational delays. The weighbridge operator is responsible for admitting trucks, verifying bookings and system information, controlling truck traffic and coordinating loading destinations with the relevant controllers and stockpile personnel while ensuring all weighbridge activities comply with site safety and operational requirements.

Assist walk in clients

Accurate truck admission and identification

Accuracy of booking and system verification

Correct allocation of trucks to loading destinations

Effective communication with operational stakeholders

Efficient control of truck traffic

Accurate system capturing and record keeping of daily loading sheet Timely reporting of weighbridge defects and system failures. Timely reporting of safety incidents and unsafe conditions

Ad Hoc tasks as requested by management

Requirements

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12 National senior certificate

3-5 year weighbridge experience in mining environment

Experience working with computerised systems

Remuneration will be discussed during interview process
