Role Overview
Status Staffing is hiring a Wealth Planner in Durban. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused investment team with practical day-to-day responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of 2–5 years' experience in high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth investment advisory and planning, financial planning, and estate planning.
- Support the team by managing recognized tertiary qualification in a finance-related field, such as a BCom, BBusSc, or a Wealth Management/ Investment Management qualification.
- Keep momentum on acquisition of new private clients and their lump sum investments into the company's PSP and/or fund products, resulting in an increase in funds under management (FUM) fo.
- Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Wealth Planner.
- Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
- Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
