Warranty Manager

A well-established national retailer in the technology sector is seeking a driven and analytical Warranty Manager to join their operations team in Cape Town.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating national warranty operations, managing supplier claims, monitoring faulty stock, ensuring accurate inventory administration, and supporting efficient product return processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) process for defective, damaged, and returned products.
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements, supplier claims, and credit note recoveries.
  • Ensure accurate stock processing, inventory reconciliation, and system updates.
  • Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, finance, procurement, and sales teams to ensure smooth warranty operations.
  • Monitor warranty turnaround times and supplier SLA performance.
  • Analyse warranty trends and stock discrepancies to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare reports for management on warranty performance, stock accuracy, and operational efficiencies.
  • Act as an escalation point for warranty-related customer matters.

Minimum Requirements

  • BCom or BBA degree essential (Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Business Management, or related fields advantageous).
  • 0–2 years’ experience in retail, logistics, warehouse administration, inventory control, operations, or a similar environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
