A well-established a national supplier of industrial chemicals is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to take ownership of warehouse and yard operations at its Cape Town facility. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational management, stock control expertise, and the ability to drive efficiency, safety, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee warehouse and yard operations, including receiving, storage, packaging, dispatch, returns, and stock control
Manage stock accuracy, reporting, and regular stock counts
Supervise and develop warehouse staff to ensure productivity and accountability
Ensure Health & Safety compliance and PPE adherence
Manage warehouse assets, forklifts, vehicles, and equipment maintenance
Maintain warehouse facilities and housekeeping standards
Monitor operational processes and implement workflow improvements
Manage overtime, leave schedules, and team performance
Maintain accurate documentation and operational reporting

Requirements:

Matric (essential)
Previous Warehouse Management experience
Strong knowledge of stock control and warehouse processes
Experience leading warehouse teams
Health & Safety awareness and compliance experience
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
Computer literacy (Excel advantageous)
Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
