Role Overview

Ford Motor Company of South Africa (Pty) LTD is hiring a Warehouse Checker/Picker in Pretoria. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to keeping goods, people or schedules moving with fewer delays and cleaner handovers.

Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on ensuring that parts received from local and import are checked, inspected and stored in the warehouse.
Take ownership of Pick Dealer order parts and ensure all cut-off times are met.
Support the team by managing ensure all parts received (Local & Import) are properly received, correctly labelled, damage free and routed to drop-zone for binning.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Warehouse Checker/Picker.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

Relevant experience in warehousing or a closely related field.
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
