WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT
Montague Gardens - Cape Town
R9,000 – R10,500 CTC per month + Benefits
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused and versatile Warehouse Assistant. This dual-function position combines customer and administrative support with practical warehouse duties.

The successful candidate must be comfortable assisting customers telephonically and via email, processing information accurately and performing physical warehouse tasks. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer and Administrative Support

Assist customers and distributors with account, payment, order and product-related enquiries.
Verify and update customer, banking and account information.
Investigate order discrepancies and escalate unresolved matters.
Maintain accurate query logs, records and system information.
Process orders, transfers and commission-related information.
Assist with month-end administration and liaise with internal departments.

Warehouse Support

Receive, pick, pack, check and dispatch stock.
Assist with loading, off-loading and preparing local and export deliveries.
Participate in stock takes, cycle counts and FIFO stock rotation.
Maintain accurate stock counts and a clean, organized warehouse.
Comply with occupational health and safety requirements.
Assist across warehouse functions and work at heights when required.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric.
At least two years’ administrative or customer support experience.
Warehouse or stock-handling experience would be advantageous.
Good written and spoken English.
Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Able to multitask, work accurately under pressure and perform physical warehouse duties.
Physically able to lift boxes and work at heights of up to 12 meters.
Dependable, punctual and flexible regarding occasional extended hours.
A relevant tertiary qualification or forklift license would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, practical and equally comfortable working at a computer, assisting customers and performing hands-on warehouse duties. They should be calm under pressure, committed to accuracy and able to follow tasks through to completion.
