Unit Manager - Maternity & NICU

Synopsis

A Durban hospital is seeking a Unit Manager to lead maternity and neonatal intensive-care operations and ensure safe, cost-effective quality nursing care.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate capacity building, mentoring, coaching and training
• monitor nursing quality indicators and clinical outcomes
• support multidisciplinary care
• evaluate patient experience
• implement clinical governance standards.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

• Registered professional nurse
• unit-management experience in maternity or NICU
• knowledge of clinical governance and evidence-based practice
• strong leadership and stakeholder skills.
