Moving Heads Personnel is hiring a Underwriting Consultant in Sandton. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused insurance team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on experience in Individual life insurance product ie Life cover, Permanent Disability cover, Temp Income Cover and Critical Illness.
Support the team by managing adhering to Risk Management (underwriting) rules, rating, and insurance laws and regulations.
Keep momentum on sound Business and Operational knowledge of Insurance Industry administrative processes.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Underwriting Consultant.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

2 to 3 years of relevant experience
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
Comfort with the systems, tools or technical platforms mentioned in the source role.
