About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer to develop original fabric designs, patterns, and prints for a range of products. You will work closely with product development and production teams to create innovative textiles that align with brand identity, market trends, and customer needs.

What You'll Do

Create original textile designs, prints, patterns, and colour palettes
Develop concepts for fabrics used in fashion, home décor, upholstery, or other textile products
Research market trends, materials, and consumer preferences
Prepare digital artwork and production-ready design files
Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and merchandising teams
Select suitable fabrics, textures, and materials for product collections
Review samples and make design adjustments before production
Ensure designs meet quality standards, production requirements, and project deadlines

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Surface Design, or a related field
Previous experience in textile or surface pattern design is advantageous
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design software
Strong understanding of colour theory, pattern development, and fabric construction
Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of textile printing and production processes is an advantage
