Technical Sales Representative – Boksburg

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated External Sales Representative with a proven sales record in technical or industrial markets. The ideal candidate will generate leads, engage clients, negotiate sales agreements and achieve sales targets independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify potential clients through cold calling, networking and online research
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations and product demonstrations
• Negotiate sales agreements and provide timely price quotes and proposals
• Maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and problem resolution
• Keep detailed records of sales activities, client interactions and transactions
• Develop and manage a strategic call cycle plan for client outreach

Requirements:

• Minimum Matric qualification
• 5+ years’ experience in external sales (technical/industrial/hose markets)
• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work unsupervised
• Fluent in English (Afrikaans/Zulu an advantage)
• Willingness to travel within Gauteng
