Synopsis

A technical sales organisation is looking for a Technical Sales - Key Accounts professional to manage customer relationships and drive commercial growth in Potchefstroom. The position requires an experienced salesperson who can combine structured sales planning with technical product discussions and new-business development.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales using a range of prospecting and account-management methods.
Prepare sales forecasts and monitor progress against commercial objectives.
Develop and execute sales strategies for the assigned customer portfolio.
Build new customer relationships using relevant industry contacts.
Maintain and grow existing key accounts.
Present products and commercial proposals to customer stakeholders.
Attend sales meetings and provide accurate sales information and statistics.
Maintain detailed customer-call and meeting records.
Support product-awareness initiatives and customer-focused campaigns.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Three to five years of experience in a related sales position.
Experience or knowledge within an electrical manufacturing or sales environment.
An electrical or similar technical qualification is advantageous.
Technical-product knowledge is advantageous.
Strong sales, presentation and business-relationship skills.
