Technical Sales Executive (Construction Materials)
Our client, an international specialist manufacturer in construction materials, seeks to employ a dynamic, commercially driven and technically minded Technical Sales Representative to join this progressive and expanding professional team.
Please note this role is to cover the entire region from Limpopo to Free State, therefore, the candidate will need to have their own reliable vehicle to travel extensively and be willing to spend time away from home.

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Construction, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
- You will have proven experience in technical sales within the construction materials, asphalt, civil engineering, or related industrial sectors.
- You must have the ability to develop new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
- You will have a strong commercial mindset with the ability to negotiate effectively, maximise profitability, and successfully close sales opportunities.
- You will be responsible for identifying customer requirements and recommending technically suitable products and solutions.
- You must be able to prepare and execute sales and marketing plans that support business growth and increased market share.
- You will monitor competitor activities, pricing trends and market developments to identify new commercial opportunities.
- You will possess strong presentation, communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage professionally with customers at all levels.
- You must be self-motivated, target-driven and capable of working independently while achieving agreed sales KPIs, customer visit targets and revenue objectives.
- You will maintain a sound understanding of relevant technical standards, industry regulations and product developments within the construction materials sector.
- You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience using ERP or CRM systems will be advantageous.
- You must have a valid driver's licence, own reliable transport, and have a clear criminal and credit record.
