Technical Advisor - Agriculture/Feeds - Pietermaritzburg

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and driven Technical Advisor to join our client - a leading player in the animal feed industry. This role is focused on managing and growing a dairy customer base, as well as supporting bag resellers and farmers within the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving bagged and bulk feed sales in line with regional business objectives while providing technical support and feed solutions to customers.

Minimum Requirements

• BSc Degree in Agricultural Science, Animal Science, or related qualification
• 3–5 years’ sales experience within the feed, agricultural, or livestock industry advantageous
• Strong understanding of dairy farming and animal nutrition
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively to farms and clients
• Strong sales and relationship-building ability
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
