A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Platform Tech Lead to provide senior technical leadership across a complex intermediary digital platform environment supporting multiple business units and customer journeys.

This role is ideal for a senior technology leader with strong architectural credibility, enterprise-scale delivery experience, and the ability to influence across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for the intermediary platform.
Lead architectural decisions across multiple systems and engineering teams.
Partner with Product, Design and senior business stakeholders to deliver scalable digital solutions.
Lead large-scale platform modernisation and technical transformation initiatives.
Establish engineering standards, governance and operational best practices.
Drive delivery alignment, risk management and engineering effectiveness across teams.
Mentor Tech Leads and senior engineers while building a strong engineering culture.
Ensure high standards of reliability, resilience, security and operational excellence.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
12–15+ years of software engineering experience.
Significant experience in senior technical leadership or engineering management roles.
Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams or enterprise-scale technical domains.
Strong architectural and systems design expertise.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience driving large-scale technical change and organisational transformation.
Strong strategic thinking and delivery capability.
