Synopsis

An engineering team is seeking a Support Engineer who can combine electronics, networking and customer support in a hands-on technical environment. The role supports deployed equipment, performs preventative maintenance, assists customers during handover and improves troubleshooting processes through better tools and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on deployed equipment.
Provide technical support for equipment operating at customer sites.
Investigate and resolve electronics, networking and equipment-support issues.
Provide client handovers when equipment is deployed.
Deliver first-line support training to customers.
Develop troubleshooting tools that improve support efficiency.
Create and improve standard operating procedures for technical support.
Work with the engineering team when issues require deeper technical investigation.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Two to four years of hands-on experience in electronics, engineering support or mining environments.
Practical technical troubleshooting ability.
Working knowledge of electronics and networking.
Ability to communicate technical information to customers.
Comfort working in a hands-on support and maintenance environment.
