REQUIREMENTS
- Matric essential
- Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or similar field
- Min 2 years’ experience in logistics, fleet coordination or events
- Valid Code B drivers’ licence (code C or EC an advantage)
- Availability to be on site for the full event (a few days or longer) with expenses covered by the company
- Strong computer literacy
- Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight event deadlines
- Reliable, accountable, and customer-focused team player
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Practical, hands-on management style
DUTIES
- Route planning and logistics
- Planning sanitation layouts and unit quantities based on event size and regulations
- Liaising with event organizers to accommodate changes and resolve issues quickly
- Coordination and management of drivers, vehicles, cleaning teams and equipment and all operational teams
- Stock: Manage stock availability as well as chemicals, consumables, spare parts etc.)
- Monitoring service quality during events and handling emergency callouts
- Tracking logistics costs, fuel usage and operational efficiency
- Understanding and implementing of health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Asset management of fleet and equipment
- Leadership and team coordination
- Customer service orientation
- Cost control and efficiency improvement
