Supply Chain Inventory Administrator
Job Description
Do you thrive working in a close-knit team, taking ownership of tasks across the business, rather than sticking to a narrow job description?Our client in Bellville requires your initiative, attention to detail, and computer literacy in a stock inventory management system.
Own transport, valid driver's license is essential, including a clear credit check.
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric, or related qualification
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in an inventory control capacity
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Valid license and own vehicle – essential
- Maintain accurate stock levels in the warehouse and across all consignment locations
- Perform regular stock counts and reconcile physical counts against system data
- Accurately document all dispatches and incoming deliveries, including serial/lot numbers, batch codes, and expiry dates
- Prepare dispatch checklists and delivery notes for ISO-compliant processes
- Ensure product traceability from receipt to final delivery
- Manage stock transactions, returns, and adjustments, and report discrepancies
- Manage stock replenishment and liaise with representatives and client associates
- Process consignment returns and dispatch stock daily from the HO warehouse
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for internal use
- Highlight slow-moving or expiring stock for management action
- Support the Logistics Manager with demand forecasting inputs based on historical data and upcoming usage plans
- Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage and packing areas
- Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery according to SOPs
- Inspect all incoming stock for damage, expiry, or discrepancies and report issues
- Use and log safe physical lifting and handling activities
