Strategic Regional Accounts Manager

REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently
- 3 years of technical sales experience
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn technical product knowledge and safety protocols
- Ability to travel within South Africa for client visits and presentations
- A keen interest in the chemical industry (no prior chemical experience required – training provided)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
DUTIES
- Research and generate leads through online platforms and in-person visits
- Managing a growing portfolio of key accounts
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance KPIs
- Travelling regionally to meet clients face to face
- Identify growth opportunities
- Acting as the technical and commercial link with clients
- Conduct in-depth chemical safety presentations and product demonstrations
- Manage client follow-ups, including quotations and ongoing communication
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 regulations at client sites
- Perform risk assessments and recommend solutions to manage chemical risks
- Provide regular training sessions for clients and ensure proper product use
- Conduct on-site visits to client premises and deliver product presentations
- Provide technical guidance and safety recommendations related to chemical usage
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery
- Attend training sessions and achieve necessary certifications provided by the company
