Store Manager - Somerset West

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to lead the daily operations of a premium retail store in Somerset West. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing store operations, leading and developing the team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maintaining high operational standards.

Description

• Lead and manage the overall day-to-day operations of the store.
• Drive sales performance and ensure store targets are achieved.
• Recruit, coach, motivate, and develop the store team.
• Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
• Manage staff performance, scheduling, and attendance.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, and loss prevention.
• Ensure the store is visually merchandised to company standards.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Prepare operational reports and manage store administration.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Education Profile

• Minimum of 2 years' management experience in a retail environment.
• Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and managing store performance.
• Experience in inventory management, visual merchandising, and operational compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with flexible trading hours.
• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
