Store Manager - Luxury Retail (Durban)

Introduction

A luxury retailer is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Store Manager to join their team.

This opportunity is ideal for a customer-centric retail leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, driving sales performance and creating a premium in-store experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate the store team to achieve sales and operational targets
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the luxury brand standard
• Drive sales, maximise profitability and achieve all store KPIs
• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Monitor stock levels, merchandising standards and inventory controls
• Recruit, train, mentor and performance manage team members
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained in line with brand guidelines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP and repeat customers
• Analyse store performance and implement action plans to improve results
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and health and safety standards

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum of 3 years' Store Management experience
• Previous experience within a luxury, premium or boutique retail environment is essential
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Commercially driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Well-presented with a passion for luxury brands and fashion
