Our client is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a busy store and deliver consistent commercial performance. This role is suited to a hands-on leader who can drive standards and motivate a team to achieve targets. You will own daily execution, including service, stock flow, merchandising, and compliance. The business expects strong discipline in reporting, shrink control, and staff performance management. You will work closely with area leadership to implement promotions and operational initiatives. Own store performance against sales targets, margin goals, and service metrics.
Manage staffing, rosters, coaching, and performance processes to maintain strong coverage.
Ensure merchandising, pricing, and promotional execution align to trading plans.
Oversee stock management: receiving, replenishment, counts, and shrink control routines.
Maintain compliance standards across cash controls, health & safety, and company policies.
Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure complaint trends are addressed.
Prepare performance reports and implement action plans to improve results.

Matric essential; retail management qualification advantageous.
5–10 years retail experience with proven store leadership.
Strong KPI management, team leadership, and operational discipline.
Experience with cash controls, stock management, and shrink reduction.
Strong communication skills and ability to lead in high-pressure trading periods.
Willingness to work retail hours including weekends and peak seasons.
