Role Overview

A Store and Assistant Manager is required at the Mall of Mthatha to achieve sales and profit targets through effective management of store resources, procedures, stock, staff, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage store resources and procedures to achieve above-average sales and budgeted profit lines.
• Protect stock, cash, physical assets, staff, and customers through company policies.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and evaluate performance.
• Maintain store layouts and visual standards.
• Manage stock-room and markdown administration, replenishment, and housekeeping.
• Manage employees and customer service.
• Merchandise the store and train staff.
• Maintain asset control and conduct employee performance reviews.
• Manage store security and stock counts.
• Recruit, develop, and guide staff.

Requirements

• Target-driven and highly motivational.
• Minimum five years' fashion-retail experience at store-management level.
• Strong management and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to plan, organise, and control effectively.
• Working knowledge of budgets.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
