Synopsis

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Statistician to collect, analyse, and interpret data to support informed decision-making. You will work with large datasets, identify trends and patterns, and translate complex statistical findings into clear, actionable insights for business and research teams.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, analyse, and interpret statistical data
Develop statistical models and methodologies to solve business and research problems
Identify trends, patterns, correlations, and anomalies within datasets
Design surveys, experiments, and data collection methods
Prepare statistical reports, dashboards, and presentations
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Collaborate with data scientists, researchers, analysts, and business teams
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and statistical integrity

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field
Master's degree is advantageous for specialised or research-focused roles
Previous experience in statistical analysis or data-related roles is preferred
Strong knowledge of statistical methods, probability, and data analysis
Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS, or similar
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
