Role Overview

International Facilities Services is hiring a Sous Chef in Botswana Remote. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused hotel team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team by managing to oversee food service assistants and cooks in the preparation of meals, while meeting safety, hygiene and quality standards.
  • Take ownership of To work closely with the Head/Executive Chef and provide support to the kitchen staff.
  • Keep momentum on to maintain hygienic standards in the kitchen environment.
  • Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Sous Chef.
  • Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

  • Enough hands-on experience to understand the pace and standards of hotel work.
  • Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
