Sound Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sound Engineer to manage, record, mix, and optimise audio for live events, studios, broadcasts, and multimedia productions. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality sound while maintaining and operating professional audio equipment.
What You'll Do
Set up, operate, and maintain professional audio equipment
Record, mix, edit, and enhance audio for live and recorded productions
Conduct sound checks and optimise audio levels before and during events
Troubleshoot technical audio issues quickly and efficiently
Collaborate with producers, musicians, performers, and production teams
Maintain audio equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
Ensure all audio meets quality and technical standards
Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and technical requirements
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Engineering, Music Production, or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience in live sound, studio recording, broadcasting, or audiovisual production
Proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and professional audio equipment
Strong technical knowledge of microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and sound systems
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and events
