Role Overview

Network Engineering is hiring a Solar Design Engineer in Centurion. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused design services team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of solar PV systems for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.
Take ownership of Design grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid solar PV systems.
Keep momentum on ensure designs comply with relevant electrical standards and regulations.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Solar Design Engineer.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

2 to 5 years of relevant experience
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
