Software Test Analyst - End-to-End Telco

Role Overview

Support a multi-phase telecommunications transformation programme by validating customer journeys across the full system chain and guiding business users through user-acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end scenarios across order, provisioning, charging, billing, care and collections.
• Build test plans, cases and data requirements for mobile and fixed-network services.
• Execute integration, end-to-end, regression and cutover testing.
• Prepare and support UAT with business users, including walkthroughs and hands-on assistance.
• Manage test-data preparation, conditioning and validation across migrating systems.
• Log, triage and track defects to closure and drive root-cause analysis.
• Work with architects and developers to test integration points.
• Validate data integrity and behaviour across legacy and incoming platforms.
• Report progress, coverage and quality metrics to programme leadership.
• Support post-cutover validation and early-life defect resolution.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or diploma; ISTQB certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience testing within a telecommunications BSS transformation programme is essential.
• Minimum six years in software testing, including at least three years testing telecommunications systems.
• Working knowledge of prepaid, postpaid, mobile and fixed-line BSS services.
• End-to-end customer-journey, UAT, migration and billing-platform testing experience.
• Integration, automation, performance testing or managed-services exposure is advantageous.
