REQUIREMENTS
- Qualification in Interior Design, Architecture or similar field
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit (essential)
- A strong sense of aesthetics and spatial awareness
- Strong interest in bespoke interior or joinery design
- Basic estimating and admin knowledge (advantageous)
- Polished interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional presentation and a client-focused approach
- Knowledge of materials used in joinery and the building industry
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and discuss their vision and requirements with management
- Offer design input on materials and finishes suitable for high-end installations
- Use creativity and design skills to translate ideas into visual designs
- Create designs using AutoCAD and 3D rendering software
- Pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy when doing drawings, specifications and material selections
- Adhere to construction and building codes
- Oversee project from start to finish by effective communication with clients, contractors and other professionals
- Manage project budgets, cost estimates, timelines and resources
- Identify and resolve design challenges
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and installation teams
