Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team by managing the successful candidate will be a strong leader with proven experience in hard rock opencast mining, capable of managing multidisciplinary teams and maintaining effectiv.
• Support the team by managing minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Manager in hard rock opencast mining.
• Take ownership of Surface Blasting Ticket with at least 3 years' experience in hard rock mining as a Contracts Manager.
• Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Site Manager.
• Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
• Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
