Site Foreman

Location: Darling / Yzerfontein, Western Cape
Salary: R30 000 per month

Job Overview:
A construction company specializing in residential housing developments is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee building projects in the Darling / Yzerfontein area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff
• Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and timelines
• Monitor quality of work and ensure building standards are maintained
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site
• Manage site materials, deliveries, and stock control
• Report on project progress to senior management
• Resolve any on-site issues or delays effectively

Minimum Requirements:

• 5–7 years’ experience as a Site Manager on residential housing projects
• Strong knowledge of building processes and site management
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and teams
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within construction
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
• Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for the site
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management or a related field
