Senior Retail Buyer, Planner & Procurement Manager
Role Overview
MHRS Master Human Resources is hiring a Senior Retail Buyer, Planner & Procurement Manager in Pretoria. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to serving customers well while keeping stock, standards and daily operations under control.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep momentum on work closely with Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations, Marketing, Finance, and E-commerce teams.
- Support the team by managing minimum 7–10 years' experience in retail buying, planning, and procurement, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or management capacity.
- Take ownership of Strong track record in a multi-category or multi-channel retail environment (Fashion, Home, Beauty, or General Merchandise preferred).
- Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Senior Retail Buyer, Planner & Procurement Manager.
- Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
- Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
- Comfort with the systems, tools or technical platforms mentioned in the source role.
