Role Overview

Kwena Human Capital is hiring a Senior Project Engineer (PREng - EPCM - Mining - Platinum - Chrome - Roodepoort, Johannesburg) in Roodepoort. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused mining team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team by managing pGM, Chrome, Base Metals Concentrator and Platinum Smelter experience preferred.
Keep momentum on 15 years' relevant experience within an EPCM company working on PGM, Chrome, Base Metals Concentrator and Platinum Smelter projects.
Keep momentum on candidates who can start immediately or on a short notice period will be given preference.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Senior Project Engineer (PREng - EPCM - Mining - Platinum - Chrome - Roodepoort, Johannesburg).
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

10 to 15 years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
