A leading organisation specialising in commercial vehicle fitments, agricultural equipment, workshop operations and production services is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead its multi-site operations across KwaZulu-Natal.
The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple sites, driving operational excellence, productivity, cost control and continuous improvement within a fast-paced engineering and production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multi-site workshop, production and operational activities.
Drive productivity, quality, safety and operational performance.
Partner with Technical Management to optimise production planning and labour utilisation.
Oversee assembly, refurbishment, repairs, scheduling and dispatch operations.
Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation and SOP implementation.
Manage operational budgets, quotations, cost control and performance reporting.
Lead and develop high-performing operational teams.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and legislative requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12
Relevant qualification in Operations Management, Engineering or related field
Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal) is essential
Valid Code 14 driver's licence
Own reliable transport
Minimum 10 years' operational leadership experience within commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, automotive, agricultural, manufacturing, engineering or workshop operations
Proven experience managing large teams across multi-site operations
Strong financial acumen with budgeting, cost control and KPI management
