Role Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Software Developer to join their Cape Town-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer to contribute to the development and enhancement of established web applications while working within a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using .NET technologies.
Build and maintain solutions using ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC.
Develop and maintain database functionality, including stored procedures and table structures.
Implement new features while applying industry-standard database design and development practices.
Work with frontend technologies to deliver responsive and user-friendly applications.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure robust, maintainable and effective solutions.

Requirements

5–10 years' experience with ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC.
Strong proficiency in VB.NET and C#.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS3 and Bootstrap.
Solid SQL experience, including stored procedures and the creation and management of table structures.
Strong understanding of software development and database design principles.

Advantageous Experience

Experience with .NET MAUI.
Experience with .NET Core.
