Senior Forwarding Controller

Synopsis

An international shipping and logistics company is seeking a Senior Forwarding Controller to manage end-to-end import movements through Durban.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate import cargo movements
• apply and interpret Incoterms
• manage commercial, transport, depot and statutory documentation
• oversee seafreight shipments
• manage claims and insurance processes
• meet client deadlines.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

• Five to seven years of recent import-controlling experience
• clearing and forwarding experience
• knowledge of Incoterms and seafreight
• strong documentation and client-service skills.
