Role Overview

Communicate Engineering is hiring a Senior Fire Engineer – Building Services in Cape Town: City Bowl. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused design services team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Lead fire safety and compliance design for multidisciplinary building projects.
Take ownership of Deliver rational fire designs, including smoke control, stair pressurisation, and sprinkler systems.
Keep momentum on manage medium to large projects independently or within a broader design team.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Senior Fire Engineer – Building Services.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
