Senior Financial Manager / Financial Analyst – Mining Sector

Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong background in the mining industry? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established investment organization seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Financial Manager / Financial Analyst to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working on complex mining projects, developing financial models, and providing strategic financial insight.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain financial models for mining operations and projects.
Perform project valuations, including Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) calculations.
Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules ready for annual audits.
Conduct financial analysis to support investment and business decisions.
Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Approximately 10 years' experience in a senior financial management or financial analyst role.
Mining industry experience is essential.
Proven experience building financial models for mining projects.
Strong understanding of project valuation techniques, including NPV and IRR.
Experience preparing audit-ready financial statements.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
