Senior Conveyancer – Johannesburg

Are you a seasoned Senior Conveyancer with a strong background in complex bond registrations?
 
Our client, a respected law firm in Johannesburg, requires your minimum 7 years post-admission experience in bond registrations to assist in managing this busy department. 
 
This role deals with Complex Lending and Commercial Property Finance Bonds and Cancellations, Bank Legal Cancellations and Correspondent Conveyancing matters.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 7 years' post-admission experience as a Conveyancer
• Proven experience in bond registrations
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong computer literacy and efficiency
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage demanding clients and work effectively with personnel
• Work independently and take ownership of the department in the absence of the Director
• Meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong work ethic

DUTIES

• Assist with managing the Johannesburg Conveyancing Department
• Oversee Complex Lending and Commercial Property Finance Bonds and Cancellations
• Manage Standard Bank Legal Cancellations
• Manage bond cancellations and correspondent matters
• Sign clients both in and out of the office
• Independently manage the department in the absence of the Department Head
• Ensure all matters are handled accurately and within strict deadlines

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
