We are seeking an experienced Senior C#/.NET Integration Developer to join a high-performing development team responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing enterprise integration solutions. This role is ideal for a developer with strong backend development expertise, hands-on integration experience, and a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues within business-critical systems.

You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable integration solutions while ensuring high levels of application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using C# and .NET technologies.
Build and support RESTful and SOAP-based services.
Develop and maintain integrations using XML and JSON message formats.
Implement XML schema validation and message transformation solutions.
Integrate applications using IBM MQ or similar messaging technologies.
Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and system defects.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on complex integration and application issues.
Refactor and optimise existing code for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Develop unit and integration tests to ensure solution quality and reliability.
Participate in deployment, release, and support activities.
Produce and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, and development teams on solution design and delivery.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to development standards and best practices.

Backend and Development Technologies

5+ years' experience in C#/.NET development within an enterprise software development environment.
Strong experience with:

Integration Experience

5+ years' experience developing and supporting integration solutions.
Strong experience with:
REST APIs
SOAP Web Services
JSON messaging
XML messaging
XML schema validation
System-to-system integrations

Messaging and Middleware

Experience working with IBM MQ Client / IBM MQ Series.
Exposure to enterprise messaging and queue-based integration patterns.

Databases

Strong SQL Server experience.
Experience developing and optimising SQL queries.
Understanding of relational database design and management.

Development and Testing Tools

SoapUI
Postman
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

Software Engineering Practices

Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
Unit testing and integration testing experience.
Source control and deployment processes.
