Role Overview

Bootlegger Coffee Company needs a Senior Bookkeeper who can step into a practical role in Ndabeni , Cape Town. A key part of the work involves Senior Bookkeeper The successful candidate will manage full-function accounting responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Strong knowledge of accounting principles and SARS compliance.
Support the team by managing proficiency in accounting software (experience with Sage 300 People or similar is advantageous).
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Senior Bookkeeper.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.

Requirements

Enough hands-on experience to understand the pace and standards of accounting work.
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
Comfort with the systems, tools or technical platforms mentioned in the source role.
