Synopsis

We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Senior Allocator to manage and optimise the allocation of merchandise across stores and sales channels. You will use sales data, stock levels, and customer demand to ensure the right products are available in the right locations at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the allocation and replenishment of stock across stores and channels
Analyse sales performance, stock levels, and product demand
Develop allocation strategies to maximise sales and minimise excess stock
Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for redistribution
Work closely with buyers, planners, and store operations teams
Forecast stock requirements based on sales trends and seasonal demand
Manage replenishment levels and support inventory optimisation
Prepare allocation reports and provide insights to support commercial decisions
Mentor and support junior allocators where required

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Retail Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
Previous experience as an Allocator, Merchandise Planner, or in a similar retail role
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with retail planning systems
Strong understanding of retail KPIs, stock management, and sales trends
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
