Role Overview

Africa Accounting Advisory (Pty) Ltd is hiring a Senior Accountant in Remote, Johannesburg or surrounding areas. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to bringing accuracy, control and clear commercial thinking to the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Review and/or perform bookkeeping and accounting support for clients in South Africa.
Take ownership of Handle client inquiries and provide practical accounting and tax support.
Take ownership of Support sales and marketing activities, including business development for accounting, tax, and M&A advisory services.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Senior Accountant.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

5 years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
