Section Engineer - Mining

Role Overview

The Section Engineer will support the safe and efficient operation of mining equipment and processing facilities in the Northern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
• Develop layouts for mineral-processing facilities.
• Design, maintain, and optimise heavy machinery and processing plants.
• Ensure mechanical systems comply with legal, environmental, and corporate safety requirements.
• Manage contracts.
• Create preventative-maintenance schedules and troubleshoot mechanical failures.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
• GCC Mines and Works qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
• Mining, equipment operation, maintenance, compliance, and safety knowledge.
