Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP Cloud applications. Develop scalable cloud-native solutions using SAP BTP. Build applications using the SAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). Design and develop CDS Views for analytical and transactional applications. Develop and consume OData V4 services. Create and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications. Develop applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP). Work with SAP HANA SQL and database optimisation. Integrate SAP and third-party applications using SAP Integration Suite (CPI). Participate in system architecture and technical solution design. Ensure developments follow SAP Clean Core principles and SAP best practices. Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders. Participate in Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. Maintain source code using Git version control. Perform code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Desired Experience & Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field. SAP Certifications will be highly advantageous. 6 to 10 years SAP ABAP Development experience. Experience developing on SAP BTP. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud development. Experience working within Agile software development teams. Strong understanding of cloud-native development principles. SAP ABAP Cloud; RAP; CDS Views; OData V4; SAP Fiori/UI5; SAP BTP; CAP; SAP HANA SQL; SAP Integration Suite (CPI); Git. Nice-to-Have Skills: SAP Build Code; SAP Build Apps; SAP Joule for Developers; AI-assisted Development; SAP AI Core; SAP Event Mesh; SAP Datasphere; Clean Core Extensibility; DevOps & CI/CD.
