Sales Representative (6) - Thabantsho, Umtata, Polokwane, Cape Town, JHB and Burgersfort

Main Job Purpose

Drive profitable sales growth and increase market share by developing, retaining, and servicing customer accounts across the glazing, hardware, and aluminium-fabrication markets. The positions cover designated territories including Polokwane, Burgersfort, Thabantsho, Umtata, Cape Town, and Johannesburg.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.
• Build and strengthen relationships through customer engagement, service delivery, and complaint resolution.
• Grow accounts through cross-selling, upselling, increased purchasing frequency, and loyalty initiatives.
• Manage relationships with independent hardware stores, hardware chains, and key customers.
• Execute sales strategies for volume, market penetration, retention, and profitability.
• Implement and communicate customer deals and promotions while following pricing guidelines.
• Gather and communicate competitor, pricing, customer, opportunity, and demand intelligence.
• Promote products, support marketing initiatives, and participate in industry and customer events.
• Maintain customer records, quotations, pipelines, deal files, call reports, territory reviews, and CRM updates.
• Plan customer visits and maintain accurate, audit-ready administration.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12.
• Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel daily within the territory.
• Three to five years' sales and marketing experience in building glass.
• Experience in glass, aluminium, hardware, or building materials, including informal-market sales and new-account development.
• Strong selling, negotiation, customer-relationship, computer, planning, reporting, and networking skills.
• SAP knowledge and fluency in English and local languages; Afrikaans is advantageous.
