Our client, a leading supplier of refractory clay brick solutions across Africa, is seeking a results-driven individual to grow market share and secure new business opportunities within the KZN and JHB regions.
The role involves building client relationships, identifying new opportunities, promoting tailored refractory solutions, and driving sales growth within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5 years of sales experience in the Ceramic / Refractory products Industry
- Good communication, negotiation, presentation skills
- Ability to travel frequently, sometimes to remote or industrial sites; valid driver’s license; reliable vehicle
- Self-motivated, target‐driven, able to work independently in the field
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle
DUTIES
- Identify and develop new business opportunities: prospect for potential new clients in sectors such as steel, glass, ceramics, cement, petrochemicals, power generation, foundries, etc.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Understand customer needs and technical requirements; recommend the most appropriate ceramic / refractory products or systems.
- Present product specifications, strengths, limitations; provide technical advice and support.
- Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, presentations, and negotiate terms.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Conduct regular field visits / site inspections to assess applications, resolve issues, demonstrate product performance.
- Gather market intelligence: track competitor activity, pricing, new materials / technologies.
- Collaborate internally to ensure orders are fulfilled, products delivered on time, quality standards met.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and feedback to management.
- Attend trade shows, industry conferences, customer training sessions as required.
