Sales Manager

Role Overview

Unique Personnel needs a Sales Manager who can step into a practical role in Ekurhuleni (East Rand). A key part of the work involves Sales Manager Identify new business opportunities and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through to contract award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team by managing travel extensively throughout the assigned territories to support business development and customer engagement.
  • Support the team by managing lead cross functional teams to Identify & develop business opportunities by analysis, planning and proposal of projects resulting in growth for the African business.
  • Keep momentum on pursue & implement initiatives to reduce overall cost and improve efficiency of business operation and profitability in Africa.
  • Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Sales Manager.
  • Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

  • Enough hands-on experience to understand the pace and standards of business management work.
  • Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
